• How do I order oil through this website?

  Simply click on our Order Online button and fill in the required information. You will need a valid Debit or Credit card to complete the order.

• How can I pay for my delivery?

  We accept payment by Debit or Credit Card. If you are a Budget Plan customer your delivery will be paid for by your monthly direct debit payments.

• How secure will my Payment Card details be?

  Jonesoil.ie uses Realex Payments technology to accept and authorise debit and credit cards via the website. We take significant steps to protect all your information, and especially your payment details, using the latest security technology.

• When will my oil be delivered?

  Delivery is normally within 1 to 2 working days but during busy times and in poor weather conditions it may take longer. If you require delivery urgently please let us know when placing your order and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

• Will I be contacted before delivery?

  If you wish to be contacted please let us know and your local depot will contact you in advance of delivery.

• Do I have to be at home when the oil is delivered?

  If we have access to your tank and it is not locked you will not need to be at home when the delivery is made.

• How will I know the oil has been delivered?

  Our driver will leave the top copy of the delivery ticket in your letter box when the delivery is completed.

• What type of heating oil do I use?

  We supply two types of heating oil. Kerosene, also known as 'Domestic Oil', is red in colour and is commonly used in domestic burners. Marked Gas Oil, also known as 'Home Heat' is green in colour and is used in older domestic burners and larger industrial burners. There may be a sticker on your tank indicating the product used. If you have a ticket from a previous delivery the product will be indicated there.

• How much oil do I need to order?

  Our minimum delivery value is €250.00. The volume of oil this will buy varies as the price of oil changes. Most domestic oil tanks range in size from 900 Litres to 1400 Litres. The capacity of your tank may be indicated by a sticker on the tank. The average delivery is approximately 800 Litres.

• What if I don’t take the quantity I order?

  Our driver will only deliver what your tank will safely take. If the quantity delivered is less than you have ordered we will refund the difference back to your Credit or Debit Card when we have confirmed the delivery details. The unit price may vary if the delivered quantity is less than the ordered quantity.

• My tank is filled through a ‘fill pipe’, can I get a delivery?

  We can make a delivery where we do not have direct access to your tank, as in the case of a fill pipe, but for safety and environmental reasons we will require you to be present at the time of delivery. We will require you to confirm to the driver that the fill pipe is connected to your tank and also confirm that your tank will take the quantity ordered.

• Does the price quoted include VAT?

  The price quoted in our 'Instant Quote' is inclusive of VAT at the appropriate rate.
